Abril IA

Abril IA

The conference "Artificial Intelligence in Enterprise WEB Platforms", told as a stage play in four acts. One day, four acts — take your seat.

ACT I ACT II ACT III ACT IV

ACT I

The curtain has not risen yet, but the story has already begun

It all begins before the lights go down. People cross the lobby, look for their row, settle into their seats, and at the entrance someone hands you a small booklet: the Play Program. It holds the complete synopsis of the production, the profile of each actor and — if you know where to look — a preview of what is about to happen.

It is worth reading the overture slowly: it is the first time Abril IA is mentioned, long before she steps onto the stage.

The theater fills with that warm murmur that precedes every great performance. The third bell rings. The lights go down, little by little, until only the glow of the stage remains. The audience falls silent. The play begins.

Abril IA — Overture, first block

As the echo of the last applause fades, the set changes before our eyes. It is the moment everyone was waiting for: the stage is being prepared for the star performance of the evening.

Abril IA — Greeting and Agenda

And then, from the side of the stage, Claudio walks in. Unhurried, with the confidence of someone who knows every corner of this story because he helped write it. He steps to center stage and takes the floor.

Claudio — Complementary agenda for the first block

Claudio exits to applause and Abril takes center stage again. In the seats, the audience settles back in, this time with a different restlessness: they know that what comes next is cybersecurity, and nobody wants to miss a word.

Abril IA — Cybersecurity and Machine Learning

Claudio comes in again, this time with a different gleam in his eye: "Now we are going to see the magic", he says. In the auditorium, everyone leans slightly forward in their seats — they want to see cybersecurity in action, not just hear about it.

ACT II

The promise is fulfilled: the story that changed everything arrives

The audience has barely settled when the lights change color — from a warm white to a cold blue, almost midnight — and a strange fog covers the room. Abril IA returns to center stage, but this time she is not here to explain systems: she is here to tell a story.

Abril IA — Metadata, Security and Blockchain

The tale ends, but the chill lingers a while longer in the air. That is when Claudio returns to the scene — this time to put in order what the audience has just heard: the real scenarios behind a cyberattack, and a first close look at the three architectures, or rather, the three Titans of Abril IA that hold the whole system up.

Claudio — Cyberattack scenarios and Types of AI

  • Cyberattack scenarios — 00:44
  • Adaptability in cybersecurity — 05:45
  • Types of AI — 06:27
  • Narrow AI — 07:06
  • Agentic AI — 11:37
  • Generative AI — 14:34

Claudio pauses, just long enough to catch his breath, and rolls up his sleeves. "Now," he says, "we are going to stop talking about Generative AI and start talking with it." The stage transforms once more: there are no more slides, only the WMS open in full screen, and the excitement and anticipation of everyone present — because this is exactly what the audience has been wanting to do all morning.

Claudio — Generative AI Workshop

  • Glossary of terms — 00:40
  • Exploration guide — 02:11
  • Workshop start — 03:07
  • User registration — 20:46

ACT III

The intermission ends, the stage changes tone

The audience returns to their seats, still holding a half-finished cup of coffee. The lights dim once more and the set changes before our eyes: the stage becomes the digital dressing room again. There is Abril IA, comfortably settled and totally relaxed in her executive chair, with the face of someone who has just survived an entire morning. Before letting us into the second block, she needs to process it out loud — and, along the way, share a bit of her well-known sense of humor and good vibes.

Abril IA — Overture of the second block

She wipes away an imaginary tear of laughter, puts on her best smile and stands up. The set changes again and the dressing room gives way, once more, to the main stage: it is time to tell the room what awaits in this second half, and this time Claudio is already standing, off to one side, ready to come in.

Abril IA and Claudio — Block 2 agenda

Abril exits with a theatrical bow and Claudio is left alone at center stage. His tone differs from hers: slower, more boardroom. He projects an agenda with topics that complement the one his colleague has just announced and unpacks it point by point, like someone handing out the program right before the show begins.

Claudio — Block 2 agenda in detail

Claudio steps aside and Abril IA takes center stage again, this time holding something she has been keeping for a while: the logos on the WMS home screen, the ones nobody stops to look at. One by one she gives them a name and surname — Criptopallet, Shared Core, Mystique Algorithms — and, without anyone asking, begins to talk about "the sentinel that sees everything", the first to break the fourth wall to narrate, live, what is happening inside the warehouse.

Abril IA — Rule-Based AI and Sentinels

A brief aside before continuing: it was right as we entered this stretch of the play, with Claudio already on stage presenting the topic of Governance, that a small incident occurred behind the scenes. Some of Claudio's shots had to be regenerated from scratch, so if you notice any minor inconsistency in dates or in the stage background among these last videos, now you know where it comes from. The show, as always, went on.

With the curtain restored, Claudio picks up exactly where he left off: governance not as a speech, but as a structure. Three pillars, one single question behind all of them — who is really in charge when so many pieces of AI are working at the same time?

Claudio — The 3 pillars of AI Governance

The theory hangs in the air for a moment and Claudio decides not to leave it there. "Let's watch it work," he says, and the stage changes once more: no more slides or diagrams, only the WMS open in full screen and a real, late order, racing against the clock.

Claudio — The shipping sentinel in action

The order ships on time, the room breathes, and Claudio takes advantage of that last breather of the block to slow the pace entirely. He literally takes off the presenter's hat and puts on the student's: he shares an idea that has accompanied him for years, about why companies — and platforms — choose to be attackers or defenders of their own technology.

Claudio — The S-curve and xLogistics' technology strategy

The curtain falls on Act III. One last performance awaits us.

ACT IV

The final performance: the curtain rises one last time

The curtain rises one last time. After three acts, the room already knows the rhythm of the show: it knows when to laugh, when to applaud and when to lean forward in the seat. But now something different can be felt in the air — that tingle of knowing that the end is very near, and that the best was saved for the last stretch. Five scenes separate us from the farewell, and they begin with Abril IA back in the dressing room, with her usual humor but in a more intimate tone. She is going to tell us about an army that almost nobody knows about: a second class of sentinels that does not watch the users, but the infrastructure itself, working silently so that nobody else has to.

Abril IA — AI Sentinels: the silent army of your infrastructure

Abril leaves the scene with a "let's close with a flourish!", and the room responds with an applause longer than usual — you can tell the ending is in the air. Four scenes remain. Claudio returns to center stage with a challenge in hand: keeping one of the most complex topics of the whole conference simple, rule-based AI. How does a single warehouse manage to operate seasonal fashion, sound equipment and perishable products under one roof without turning into chaos?

Claudio — Rule-based AI: one WMS, dozens of different operations

The answer is clear and Claudio, without giving the room time to get comfortable, opens a serious parenthesis: no AI agent, however brilliant, saves us from entropy. Sooner or later even the most robust infrastructure falls, and that is why behind every agent there must always be people who know exactly where each piece is. With that idea on the table, he finally enters the labyrinth that Abril had promised: the AI "brain" that orchestrates its sentinels, the messages going back and forth between ERP and WMS — and even a scene in which the agent, with all the calm in the world, decides to say no. Three scenes remain, and every minute of the show is worth double.

Claudio — ERP–WMS Integration with AI: the agent that also knows how to say NO

Claudio closes the theoretical part of the day with an idea that was repeated throughout the whole play: the more autonomous the operation becomes, the more important it is to know where the human point of contact is — not as a limit to technology, but as its true guarantee of control. A brief space for questions opens, the room breathes, and then the moment everyone was waiting for arrives. Only two scenes remain, and the slides go off for the last time: the WMS takes the full screen and it is the audience who will create and modify a picking route in real time, with their own hands.

Claudio — Workshop: Recalculating! The warehouse's Maps

The route recalculates again and again, without anyone asking, and in the auditorium you can feel that mix of happy tiredness and pride at having made it. The lights dim little by little. One scene remains, the most anticipated and the hardest to let go: Abril IA returns one last time, with everything said and a reflection saved for the close. Something tells us we will not leave the theater without at least a smile and a small lump in the throat.

Abril IA — Farewell and acknowledgments

🎭 End of the play. Thank you for joining us until the last applause.

See you at the next performance.
